Description We are seeking for a Senior Project Manager to manage the implementation of software solutions in business units.

The project manager will work in concert with various groups (ie: IT PMO, IT architecture, IT Security, IT Solutions, Support to Transformation, Vendors and business units).

The resource has a minimum of 15 years of experience in managing/directing similar large scale software implementation and is known for his ability to manage effectively the third-party, for his customer driven approach, for it sense of organization and for his advanced skills in project management.

•Ensures that project standards and gates are applied to the project.
•Implements, with the assigned PCO, the project management framework and associated processes and tools
•Ensures that project is delivered as per planned. Develops and manages the project schedule.
•Ensures that the project is delivered within the approved budget. Manages the project budget (forecasts, actuals, ETC, EAC).
•Ensures that the solution delivered meets the requirements. Manages project scope and change requests when applicable.
•Manages third-party vendors and related contracts. Ensure that scope, timeline and costs of vendors are delivered as per agreed in the statement of work. Manages scope changes & Contract amendment with Procurement if applicable.
•Ensures that project value is understood and carried throughout the project.
•Ensures effective communications to the project team and stakeholders. Communicates project status and health.
•Facilitates issue resolution on a timely manner.
•Mitigates risks proactively.
•Organizes and conduct governance meetings (status meetings, steering committees).
•Continuously improves project management tools, processes, and documentation.
•Effectively closes projects, ensuring no gaps in handoff to IT support or other internal organizations. Documents lessons learned.

•Fifteen years of experience in managing large scale Software implementations as a project director or manager
•Project Management Professional (PMP Certification)
•Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and varying levels of management
•Experience in managing Third-Party vendors
•Ability to articulate and understand business requirements
•Experience working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
•Bilingual (French and English, spoken and written)
•Proficiency with MsProject and other project management tools
•Proficiency with Powerpoint and Excel
•PMP Certification
