Description This role is responsible for configuration and development of the IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) application and related tools, including testing, analyzing, troubleshooting, developing, documenting, implementing and stabilizing solutions. Ensuring that ISIM-related systems and procedures are maintained and properly executed, the candidate in this role is expected to also work closely with other Information Technology teams in delivering solutions that align system functionality to business requirements. The applicant will be working in a project environment under tight timelines.

Responsabilities:

• Diagnose and resolve defects in the IBM Security Identity Manager application and related tools through root-cause and impact analysis
• Cooperate and collaborate with various in-house as well as external experts
• Ensure optimal re-use and leveraging of existing/pre-packaged application functions versus the need for the development of new and/or customized functions
• Interact with the business owners/users to understand their priorities, requirements and expectations
• Produce accurate work estimates
• Produce configuration design specifications that meet business requirements and align with solution architecture direction
• Collaborate with other designers on configuration and functional designs
• Develop and execute test cases/scenarios that confirm application functionality
• Document and revise processes
• Define implementation plans, including deployment, cutover and fall-back
• Deploy and stabilize a solution
• Perform knowledge transfers within support team and/or business users
• Document, validate and test Disaster Recovery (DR) process


Requirements

• Experience working in the Identity and access management domain as well as knowledge of a range of security concepts such as SSL/TLS protocol, authentication, authorization, password security, access control methods and models
• 3+ years of knowledge and experience with JavaScript, AIX/Linux commands, SQL
• Very strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Efficient time management skills
• Maintain concise technical and support documentation
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently, as well as within a team
